Job Title: Account Representative
Location: Newnan
State: Georgia
Position Description: The Account Representative plays a critical role in driving success in established client accounts. This can be achieved through the goals and initiatives of the team or by direct account management. A major area of focus for this position includes handling ongoing requirements of the account to ensure a high level of client satisfaction and profitable growth.
Required Qualifications:

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • First point of contact for client regarding ongoing business requirements including key account projects.
  • Participate directly in developing Strategic Account Leadership strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with account management, or directly with client to assure overall customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with account management to produce Business Review; participate and/or facilitate Business Review session.
  • Develop and maintain strong and trusting client relationships.
  • Assume leadership role in project management including definition of project scope, operational and resource implications, and assessment of how to match project requirements to client need and Company service solutions.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities and work with key internal personnel as appropriate in developing strategies to secure those opportunities.
  • Maintain a solid working knowledge of all company services and solutions.
  • Lead efforts to improve processes, quality and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Support and maintain corporate quality standards, policies, practices and work instructions.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Back up account management or manage account directly depending on business needs.

LEADERSHIP

  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership and relationship building skills both internally and externally
  • Define and manage desired outcomes through others as required in a shared services environment.
  • Provide input and leadership in achieving Continuous Improvement Action Plan goals.

FINANCE

  • Apply knowledge of contract and pricing to determine if scope of work falls within the parameters of the agreement.
  • Direct account assignment responsibility may have accountability for client P&L including revenue growth, Gross Profit and EBITDA.
  • Provide oversight and input to ensure proper billing to the client.
  • Manage quote preparation for presentation to client.
  • Provide input as appropriate on key forecasting components and budget recommendations.
  • Participate directly in financial management including cost control, billing, and overall account profitability.

 SALES AND OPERATIONS PLANNING

  • Define operational requirements in accordance with Company best practices.
  • Evaluate current processes to provide recommendations for Company and/or client process improvements and cost savings.
  • Understand client business rules and communicate changes to key internal personnel as necessary.
  • Understand contractual service level requirements; monitor and document performance; address performance variances and participate in defining steps for resolution.
  • Address and resolve client concerns in the best interest of the Company and the client.
Desired Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years related experience.
  • Previous managerial experience preferred.
  • LEAN/Six Sigma and/or operational process development.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage end-to-end project requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide direction to team members as needed.
  • Effective interpersonal and customer facing skills.
  • Experience in working under consistent deadline pressure.
  • Aptitude to develop solid understanding of financial elements of the business.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and ability to learn news systems.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, decision making skills, and identification of new business opportunities.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% or as may be required.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
