Meet Our Leadership Team
Ed Kolodzieski has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Archway Marketing Services since September 2015 and Chief Executive Officer since December 2015. He is also currently the Chief Executive Officer of Leopard Capital Partners LLC, a firm that provides advisory services in the retail, e-commerce, supply-chain and consumer products sectors.
Ed serves on the Board of Directors of Liquidity Services Inc., a publicly-traded company specializing in the e-commerce and the surplus liquidation space. He is also on the Board of Directors of Vi-Jon Inc., a privately-held consumer products manufacturing company. Additionally, he is a Senior Advisor for CVC, a leading global private equity firm and is on their Board of Advisors.
Ed retired as a senior executive with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. In his most recent role as Executive Vice President – Global Sourcing, he oversaw the corporation’s direct sourcing from over 50 countries.
Prior to this appointment, Ed was the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the SEIYU Limited, a publicly-listed Japanese company. In this role, he led the successful transition of SEIYU to become Wal-Mart Japan Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
Before his role in Japan, Ed served as Chief Operating Officer of Wal-Mart International, where he oversaw the operations, merchandising and marketing for a diverse portfolio of 2,400 retail stores in 15 countries outside of the United States.
Ed joined Wal-Mart in 2000 as Senior Vice President and Chief Executive of the newly created Neighborhood Market Division. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, he was the President of Acme Markets of Virginia, a supermarket firm with operations in five Mid-Atlantic States.
In addition to his 35 years of retail experience, Ed is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and has experience with public, private and non-profit boards.
Ed has a Master in Business Administration from the University of Tampa and a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida.

Ryan J. Damask has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Archway Marketing Services since June 2016. Prior to this role, Ryan was Vice President of Finance with a focus on cost management and margin improvement initiatives.
Before joining Archway, Ryan served in various financial and accounting leadership roles at Fortune Global 500 Companies, including International Paper, Rio Tinto Group, and Compass Group, working within sectors ranging from chemicals and petroleum to healthcare. Ryan has focused both domestically and internationally, primarily in South America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
In addition to his international experience, Ryan has managed over $1 billion in transactions to include the successful integration life cycle.
Beyond his professional commitments, Ryan is devoted to community service. He has served on the Board for Chicago Children’s Charity and spent 8 years serving in the United States Army Reserves.
Ryan has a Master in Business Administration in Strategy and Valuation from DePaul University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Wisconsin–Madison, and is also Lean Six Sigma certified.
Kay Ark is Senior Vice President of Human Resources. She plays a major role in the company’s overall performance, leading organizational strategy, promoting operational effectiveness, and elevating team performance through innovative leadership. Kay accelerates Archway’s transformation through leadership, attracting and developing the best talent and building a culture of engagement, agility and innovation.
Kay has more than 18 years of experience in human resources, leading organizational change, shifting corporate culture and introducing new technologies, processes and systems to employees. Kay consistently delivers on commitments and is known as an exceptional “people person” with sound values and operating principles.
Since joining the company in 2010, Kay has held positions of increased responsibility spanning various aspects of human resources. Most recently, Kay served as Vice President of Human Resources, where she partnered with multiple functional areas to assess, organize, and develop the company’s talent, ultimately driving growth.
Prior to joining Archway, Kay held various positions at Hitachi Construction Truck Manufacturing and Kelly Services.
Kay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McMaster University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from York University.
Kerry James is the Senior Vice President and General Manager, Northern Division, with responsibility for setting strategic direction and driving execution across the distribution network in the North/Midwest U.S. market. With more than 20 years of experience in marketing promotions and product supply chain, he works with clients to develop solution design, drive efficiency and improve productivity.
Since joining Archway in 2006, Kerry has been instrumental in leading the creation and execution of highly successful corporate, business unit, and new market strategies that have produced strong topline results. He is experienced in strategic and tactical planning and has a proven track record in cost control, cost reduction and customer-focused service.
Prior to his current role, Kerry served as Senior Vice President of Client Engagement. In this position, he used ongoing insights and analytics to design and implement optimal solutions for Archway’s clients.
Kerry worked in various roles at Caremark, Accor North America and Hitachi prior to joining Archway.
Kerry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Portsmouth University, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Southern Denmark University and is a Certified Purchasing Manager with the ISM organization.
Barry Polan is Senior Vice President and General Manager, Southern Division, with responsibility for driving profitable growth and enabling operational excellence in the South U.S. market. His strong commitment to operational excellence, innovative approach to business problems, and aptitude for partnering cross-functionally have reshaped the distribution network in the South and resulted in greater synergies.
Prior to his current role, Barry was Chief Sales Officer. He employed a consultative and holistic approach to sales to ensure clients achieved maximum return on their investment. Possessing nearly 20 years of sales leadership experience, he was also responsible for delivering high volume profitable sales growth by mentoring, coaching and building an industry-leading sales team.
With extensive experience in the point-of-purchase and point-of-sale market sector and marketing supply chain, Barry has held a number of senior executive positions including General Manager at C2 media, as well as Co-Owner and Director of Sales at Crush Creative. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Sales at Cornerstone Records Management (NKA Iron Mountain). Barry’s leadership and guidance have resulted in additional business expansion for all the companies he has served.
Barry holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Redlands in California.
Rob Walters is Senior Vice President and General Manager overseeing Information Technology and the Canadian business unit. Rob is responsible for planning and implementing information technologies that support Archway’s clients and the company’s future growth. Leading a broad range of IT initiatives, his cost-effective business solutions place enormous emphasis on quality and support Archway’s clients and employees across North America. In his dual role, Rob is also responsible for the performance and management of the Canadian distribution network.
Since joining Archway in 2005, Rob has been known as a transformational leader with proven business expertise and deep supply chain knowledge. Rob’s background in operations strategy, engineering, facilities management and compliance enable him to focus on delivering streamlined business solutions with technological best practices.
Prior to his current role, Rob was Vice President of Operations at Archway, a position in which he initiated enterprise-wide strategies and procedures that supported Archway’s sales growth plans. He was responsible for driving performance and organizational discipline at all levels of the company – ultimately providing customers with more efficient marketing execution and product distribution solutions.
Prior to Archway, Rob served in the United States Marine Corps in special operations and logistics leadership roles.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Capella University and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.
