Meet Our Leadership Team
Kerry James is the Chief Executive Officer of Archway Marketing Services and has over 20 years of experience leading business to business and supply chain organizations. Kerry is responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring client satisfaction and driving profitable growth.
Kerry began his career at Archway in 2006, serving as Director of Sourcing and Procurement where Kerry established a centralized professional Procurement organization. In 2009 Kerry was promoted to Vice President Supply Chain and lead the expansion of Archway’s BPO services. Transitioning to a client facing role in 2014 as Senior Vice President Client Advisory Services Kerry led the creation of highly successful new market strategies that have produced strong topline results. In 2016 Kerry expanded his role to Senior Vice President General Manager managing Archway’s Northern US and Canadian Divisions. Kerry also worked in various roles at Caremark, Accor North America and Hitachi prior to joining Archway.
Kerry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Portsmouth University, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Southern Denmark University and is a Certified Purchasing Manager with the ISM organization.
Sam Quick is SVP and CIO of Archway Marketing Services. Sam has over 30 years of IT experience in various industries including automotive, pharmaceutical, aerospace and packaging. He has responsibility for strategic direction of all IT systems, and the delivery of all solutions including an extensive modernization of Archway’s IT landscape.
Prior to joining Archway, Sam was CIO at Varroc Lighting (formerly Ford Lighting and then Visteon) a global supplier of lighting to major automotive manufacturers for close to 4 years. In this role, he stabilized the IT department and developed a global high performing team. Before joining Varroc, he was at Affinia Group (formerly Dana Corporation – Aftermarket Division) for 6 years where he served as CIO. Sam also served in senior IT roles at Tyco Healthcare, Merck, and Boeing.
Barry Polan is Chief Revenue Officer. He is responsible for driving profitable growth and enabling operational excellence. His strong commitment to operational excellence, innovative approach to business problems, and aptitude for partnering cross-functionally have reshaped the distribution network at Archway and resulted in greater synergies.
Prior to his current role, Barry was Chief Sales Officer. He employed a consultative and holistic approach to sales to ensure clients achieved maximum return on their investment. Possessing nearly 20 years of sales leadership experience, he was also responsible for delivering high volume profitable sales growth by mentoring, coaching and building an industry-leading sales team.
With extensive experience in the point-of-purchase and point-of-sale market sector and marketing supply chain, Barry has held a number of senior executive positions including General Manager at C2 media, as well as Co-Owner and Director of Sales at Crush Creative. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Sales at Cornerstone Records Management (NKA Iron Mountain). Barry’s leadership and guidance have resulted in additional business expansion for all the companies he has served.
Barry holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Redlands in California.
Jason Phillips is the Chief Operating Officer of Archway Marketing Services. He leads the Archway team responsible for providing exceptional service to clients across industries and value chains. Jason’s focus is growing lasting relationships with clients through service quality, operational excellence, and commitment to client priorities.
Before joining Archway, Jason served as the Vice President of Operations at Johnson Brothers, a national distributor of adult beverages. Earlier in his career, Jason served in senior leadership and executive roles with AlixPartners and Beiersdorf where he was instrumental in driving successful turnarounds for clients and shareholders. Jason’s professional passion is converting clients to fans and advocates based on commitment, value, and service. When high expectations, individual empowerment, and personal accountability come together, great things happen.
Jason holds a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University. He also holds Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
Kay Ark is Senior Vice President of Human Resources. She plays a major role in the company’s overall performance, leading organizational strategy, promoting operational effectiveness, and elevating team performance through innovative leadership. Kay accelerates Archway’s transformation through leadership, attracting and developing the best talent and building a culture of engagement, agility and innovation.
Kay has more than 18 years of experience in human resources, leading organizational change, shifting corporate culture and introducing new technologies, processes and systems to employees. Kay consistently delivers on commitments and is known as an exceptional “people person” with sound values and operating principles.
Since joining the company in 2010, Kay has held positions of increased responsibility spanning various aspects of human resources. Most recently, Kay served as Vice President of Human Resources, where she partnered with multiple functional areas to assess, organize, and develop the company’s talent, ultimately driving growth.
Prior to joining Archway, Kay held various positions at Hitachi Construction Truck Manufacturing and Kelly Services.
Kay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McMaster University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from York University.
